JMCSS Indoor Soccer League
Alright let’s talk the Jackson Madison County school system indoor soccer league.
It consist of elementary schools from around the area such as Community,
Pope, Thelma Barker, Arlington, Andrew Jackson, Denmark, Lincoln, East, Isaac lane and South.
Games are normally played on Mondays,Tuesdays and Thursdays. The competition is heating up every single
matchup with each game you can either go up or fall down in the standings.This goes for both the girls and
boys teams. As of now East elementary defeats Isaac lane to move up to 2nd place in the district. We caught up with East
assistant principal Willam Arnold and he spoke about the benefits from playing the sport.
“This is just so great for the kids it’s good so they can learn the sport of futsal actually builds the teamwork it builds the spirit and the Camaraderie
that you need to be successful in life.”
District administrators are excited about what the indoor soccer league will mean for
improving the sport at the middle school and high school levels in the
future.
