Wokha, October 13 (MExN): The Legacy Futsal Tournament 2024, hosted by Legacy Futsal Arena in Etsutchukha, Wokha, reached a conclusion today, with Bakchod FC emerging victorious against Tsumang FC in the final match, securing a narrow 1-0 win. This latest triumph marks the team’s third consecutive title, having previously claimed victory in both the inaugural and second editions of the tournament.
The final was attended by Er. Chanthungo Murry, Deputy General Manager of NEEPCO, who served as the patron of the event. In addition to the team accolades, individual awards were handed out to recognize exceptional performances throughout the tournament. Toka Achumi from Tsumang FC was honored as the Player of the Tournament, while Bakchod FC’s Hatsabemo earned the title of Highest Scorer with an impressive 14 goals. Meribemo from Mhao FC was awarded Best Goalkeeper for his outstanding contributions in goal.
