FOREST HILL, WV (WVNS) – A futsal league in the area is preparing to start up and league officials are searching to add more teams and players.
Futsal is a version of indoor soccer, which has a few different rules from outdoor soccer.
The Southern West Virginia King’s Warriors Soccer Club is the team that is hosting this winter league. There will be different divisions, including some for high school boys, high school girls, and co-ed middle school teams.

If you do not have a team or are looking for a team, the King’s Warriors welcome any and everyone to play with them, regardless of age.
Practices take place Mondays and Thursdays at the gym of Countryside Baptist Church in Forest Hill. Older elementary and middle schoolers practice from 4:15 p.m. until 6 p.m., followed by a practice for high schoolers, college students, and adults that lasts until around 8:30 p.m.
The cost to practice for the season is $25. If you want to practice and play games with them, the fee is $50 in total.
