National Training Centre (NTC) triumphed in the Santos 61st Anniversary Masters Futsal Championship, thrashing Charlestown in the final on Friday evening at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
In what was a rematch from the group stage, NTC completed the double over their foe as they prevailed by a 4-2 score-line.
As a result, NTC pocketed $200,000 and the championship trophy, while Charlestown walked away with $100,000 and the corresponding accolade. Meanwhile, in the third-place playoff, Beacons mauled West Side 4-0 to pocket $60,000 and a trophy. The loser received $40,000 and a trophy.
